Alleged gang member sentenced to 35 many years in teen

A 23-12 months-old alleged gang member was sentenced to 35 many years to daily life in jail on Friday for the capturing loss of life of a 15-12 months-old boy who was using a bicycle in Santa Ana.

Brian Jose Miguel was at first facing daily life in jail but pleaded guilty previous 12 months to next-degree murder for the 2012 capturing of Jimmy Hernandez in the 2000 block of West Myrtle Avenue.

The teenager, who had no gang ties, was using a bicycle at about 6 p.m. when he was shot by Miguel, who was in a group of accused gang members in a rival gang
